Basic Commands:

These commands are given to anyone who is a regular user on Dark Ages

.addfriend
    Usage: .addfriend <username>
    Adds a user to your friend list, so you can send multiple messages
    to all your friends at the same time.

.afk
    Usage: .afk <message>
    Tells everyone in the room you are Away From Keyboard. If
    you want to say the reason, put a message.
    Example: .afk duck hunting
    Output: Wamba goes AFK, duck hunting

.agripe
    Usage: .agripe <message>
    Leaves an anonymous gripe, so you can leave messages about controversial
    things without worrying about anyone finding out who did it.

.areas
    Usage: .area
    Displays the number and name of all the areas, along with lock
    levels, topics, numbers of messages, and number of users

.cbuff
    Usage: .cbuff
    Clears the room buffers. If you said something you didn't want
    anyone else to hear, you can clear the buffer, and nobody can
    type .review to see what it was.

.cls
    Usage: .cls
    Moves anything on the screen off the screen in an attempt to
    clear the screen.

.colors
    Usage: .colors
    Displays the color codes that you can make color in your
    emotes, speech, shouts, tells, etc.

.commands
    Usage: .commands
    Displays the commands that the user is able to use.

.ctellbuf
    Usage: .ctellbuf
    Clears the last 20 tells out of your tell buffer

.delfriend
    Usage: .delfriend <username>
    Deletes a user from your friend list.

.desc
    Usage: .desc <description>
    Changes the description that is visible when you do a .who

.dmail
    Usage: .dmail <option>
    If you choose "all" for your option, all your mail is deleted.
    If you choose a number for your option, that many messages are
    deleted.

.echo
    Usage: .echo <message>
    Shortcut: +
    Prints something that doesn't include your name.
    Example: +The Thunder Rolls
    Output: The Thunder Rolls

.emote
    Usage: .emote <message>
    Prints your name followed by the message.
    Shortcut: ;   
    Example: .emote smiles
    Outputs: Wamba smiles

.entermsg
    Usage: .entermsg <enter-message>
    Displays a fun message when you enter a room.
    Example: .entermsg bursts into the room
    Output: Wamba bursts into the room

.entpro
    Usage: .entpro
    Allows you to enter a profile that is visible when you .ex someone.
    You can have 15 lines in a profile. Type a . on a line by itself
    to save your profile.

.examine
    Usage: .examine <username>
    Allows you to view stuff about other users, like name, gender, age, email,
    webpage, etc. Also allows you to read another user's profile.

.exitmsg
    Usage: .exitmsg <exit-message>
    Displays a fun message when you exit a room
    Example: .exitmsg climbs out the window to the
    Output: Wamba climbs out the window to the <new room name>

.femote
    Usage: .femote <message>
    Sends a private emote to all the users on your friends list.

.fmail
    Usage: .fmail
    Forwards your .smail file to the email address set by .set email <address>
    Make sure your email address is set before trying to forward your mail.

.follow
    Usage: .follow <username>
    Follows another user into a private room.

.friends
    Usage: .friends
    Displays all the friends of yours who are online.

.frmail
    Usage: .frmail <message>
    Sends a private message to all the users on your friends list.

.ftell
    Usage: .ftell <message>
    Sends a message privately to all the users on your friends list.

.go
    Usage: .go <areaname>
    Changes a user's location to a new room.

.greet
    Usage: .greet
    Displays ten letters really large.
    Example: .greet hi
    Output: Wamba yells:

.gripe
    Usage: .gripe <message>
    Displays or writes gripe messages on the gripe board. Use this board
    if you want to gripe about something you don't like, whether it is
    talker-related, or otherwise.

.help
    Usage: .help <subject>
    Displays the main help page if no subject is specified and displays
    more information about a subject if you add one.

.idle
    Usage: .idle
    Displays how long a user has kept quiet without doing anything.
    This can be used to indicate whether a user is lagged out or not.

.ignore
    Usage: .ignore <option>
    Ignores different types of things like, all - room conversation,
    prompt - the time stats, ftell - friend tells, shouts - loud shouts,
    tell - regular tells. Use .ignore <option> again to hear them again.

.invite
    Usage: .invite <user>
    Invites a user from outside a locked room to come into the room
    without you unlocking it first.

.knock
    Usage: .knock <areaname>
    Asks the users inside a locked room to either .unlock the room
    or .invite you in.

.lfriends
    Usage: .lfriends
    Displays all your friends who are online

.lock
    Usage: .lock
    Locks the room so that nobody else can enter without .knocking.

.look
    Usage: .look
    Displays the room description, exits, and other users in the room.
    It also displays the lock level, number of messages, and topic.

.macros
    Usage: .macros
    Displays your macros. To set a macro, look at the example.
    Example: .1=;waves hello at you.
    Example: .1
    Output: Wamba waves hello at you.

.map
    Usage: .map
    Shows you the current layout of the talker. This will show you how
    to get to different rooms on the talker.

.motd
    Usage: .motd
    Displays the Message of the Day.

.mroom
    Usage: .mroom
    Returns a user to the main room from anywhere on the talker
    regardless of exits.

.news
    Usage: .news
    Displays the current talker news.

.passwd
    Usage: .passwd <oldpassword> <newpassword>
    Allows you to change your password.

.pemote
    Usage: .pemote
    Possessive emote to the people in the room.
    Example: .pemote birthday is Feb 21st.
    Output: Wamba's birthday is Feb 21st.

.quit
    Usage: .quit
    Disconnects you from the talker.

.ranks
    Usage: .ranks
    Displays the current ranks of the talker.

.read
    Usage: .read
    Displays the contents of the message board

.refill
    Usage: .refill
    Fills your supersoaker with water for use in the supersoaker game.

.remote
    Usage: .remote <user> <message>
    Shortcut: ;;
    Privately sends an emote to another user.
    Example: ;;yourname grins at you
    Output: ->Wamba grins at you

.review
    Usage: .review
    Reviews the last 20 things said in the room, just in case you
    missed something.

.revshout
    Usage: .revshout
    Reviews the last 20 things people have shouted.

.revtell
    Usage: .revtell
    Reviews the last 20 tells to you.

.rmail
    Usage: .rmail
    Reads all your personal mail messages.

.rules
    Usage: .rules
    Displays the rules files for the talker.

.semote
    Usage: .semote <message>
    Shortcut: !   
    Sends an emote to all the users on the talker.
    Example: !screams loudly!
    Output: !Wamba screams loudly!

.send
    Usage: .send <user> <picture>
    Sends an ascii picture to another user

.set
    Usage: .set <option>
    Changes the options for your user file. Things you can set include:
    gender, age, email, url, photo, icq, alarm.

.shhhhhhh
    Usage: .shhhhh <username>
    Totally ignores a particular annoying user.

.shield
    Usage: .shield
    Lowers your shield so you can play supersoaker. If your shield is up,
    you can't get booted offline. When your shield is down, you are
    vulnerable!

.shout
    Usage: .shout <message>
    Sends a message to everyone on the talker

.sing
    Usage: .sing <song>
    Prints your song as if you were singing it.
    Example: .sing row, row, row your boat!
    Output: Wamba sings o/~ row, row, row your boat! o/~

.smail
    Usage: .smail <user> <message>
    Sends a mail message to another user.

.soak
    Usage: .soak <user>
    Shoots your supersoaker at another user.

.social
    Usage: .social <socialname> <username>
    Shortcut: '
    Sends one of 5 predefined socials to another user
    Example: 'kisses Cassandra
    Output: Wamba gives Cassandra a nice sultry kiss!

.suggest
    Usage: .suggest <message>
    Works the same as gripe.

.talkers
    Usage: .talkers
    Displays a list of other talkers.

.target
    Usage: .target <user>
    Displays supersoaker information about another user.

.tell
    Usage: .tell <user> <message>
    Sends a private message to a user

.think
    Usage: .think <message>
    Makes your message seem to be in a thought bubble
    Example: .think I'm hungry
    Output: Wamba thinks . o O ( I'm hungry )

.time
    Usage: .time
    Displays the current time statistics of the talker. This includes
    total logins, when the talker came online, etc.

.topic
    Usage: .topic <new topic>
    Changes the room's topic to your new topic.

.unlock
    Usage: .unlock
    Unlocks the room, so everyone can get in again.

.ustat
    Usage: .ustat <username>
    Displays a users stats, mostly to discover if a user is ignoring certain
    things or not.

.version
    Usage: .version
    Displays the talker version information

.whisper
    Usage: .whisper <user> <message>
    Sends a private message to another user, but prints the fact
    that you sent the message for instance:
    Wamba whispers something in Cassandra's ear.

.who
    Usage: .who
    Displays the users online, location, rank and duration of their visit.

.wizards
    Usage: .wizards
    Displays all the wizards that are currently logged on.

.write
    Usage: .write <message>
    Writes a message on the current room's message board.

.xmail
    Usage: .xmail <number>
    Deletes a line number from your smail list
